We're thrilled to be a part of the winter issue of Atomic Ranch Magazine, as a trusted resource for mid century modern design. I've been photographing our signature colorblock pillows in an authentic molded plastic Eames chair manufactured by Herman Miller since the early days of my business. I wanted to set our pillows on a stage of authentic, original design. Sleek, sophisticated and simple. Perfected proportions with clear mastery over materials.
As a designer, I pride myself in keeping our collections fresh, yet timeless. The nostalgia of the mid century era runs to the depths of my childhood spending afternoons with my grandmother playing bingo on the avocado green carpet in her living room. That nostalgic spark was rekindled when I moved to southern California in my early 20s, surrounded by architecture and furnishings of the era.
