Light up your look with One Kings Lane

I'm super excited to share a little something that I've been up to behind the scenes. Last month, I was contacted by One Kings Lane to participate in their brand new series, Fashion-Forward Furniture, which aims to celebrate everything we love about our favorite outfits to inspire a fashion forward room. My background is in interior design and the fashion industry is a significant source of inspiration for my new pillow concepts, so without hesitation I said YES because this is right up my alley!

Cue the Light Up Your Look campaign - "Just like a statement jewelry piece, nothing quite makes a room sparkle like a chandelier."

Gatsby Chandelier, Heritage Brass - One Kings Lane
A streamlined silhouette and tapered glass shades give this chandelier its Art Deco appeal. Crafted of steel with a gleaming brass finish. Hardwired. Hinkley Lighting.

Long Single Fold Earrings, gold - Sarah Loertscher
Sarah Loertscher is a studio jeweler in Seattle, WA. Citing crystal structures, minimal landscapes, and sweeping power lines as her influences for her meticulously crafted geometric jewels.

Sharp angles are in and brass is back, folks. Asymmetric or symmetric - dressed up or down - both elements will add a dramatic edge to your look. Add this striking chandelier over a dining table for chic ambiance.

Cedar & Moss 10" Rod Pendant - Rejuvenation
A Rejuvenation exclusive, this Cedar & Moss Pendant was created in collaboration with the innovative Portland-based lighting designer and retailer.

22k Gold River Porcelain Necklace - Porcelain and Stone
Kimberly Huestis hand-crafts her jewelry in Boston, Massachusetts. Drawing inspiration from nautical and organic elements with a graceful woman in mind.

The Brass Age Bracelet - Maslo Jewelry
Gold plated, vintage brass curved bar with off white cord. Hand-crafted by Nicole Maslowski in her Richmond, VA studio.

Pairing brass + white tops the list as my biggest crush. These three pieces are modern, pure and refined. They're what I like to call "effortless chic" and almost beg to be layered. Combine varying heights of the mid-century pendant in a seating area for a fresh and dramatic statement. Throw on the porcelain necklace and brass bracelet with your favorite pair of jeans to dress up and polish your look with ease.

Gem Lamp, Solid Walnut - Worleys Lighting
Worley's Lighting is the love child of Shelli Worley and her husband Seth. They hand-craft high quality, modern lighting and are based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Quartz Necklace - The FORMA
Galit Barak is a jewelry designer based out of Israel. Her jewelry integrates bold and rustic forms with clean and minimal elements.

Facets combine a beautiful juxtaposition between modern and organic. The asymmetric angles create planes that accentuate the play of shadow and light. Statement makers, for sure.

Alberta Table Lamp, Red + Cherry and Turquoise + Cherry - Caravan Pacific
Shannon Guirl and her skilled team of craftspeople that make up Caravan Pacific are based in Portland, Oregon. She combines wood tuning and ceramics to design mid-century lighting.

Durango Bevel Necklace + ARÊTE Necklace- Son of a Sailor Jewelry
William Knopp and Jessica Tata are the husband and wife team behind Son of a Sailor Jewelry. Inspiration behind their handmade jewelry comes from the application of color, pattern, and geometry to materials with a rich history and story.

I'm sure it's no shock that I had to include color-blocking as one of my favorites! This trend is the perfect way to add a pop of color to you look or space. It's even great if you're just starting to ease your way into bright color. Use color-blocking to contrast colors or coordinate - it's modern and fresh.

This gorgeous lamp will be highlighted in our new studio soon. Stay tuned for updates!
